Comments:	This wine is called 'Pilin' to honor the grandfather of the current family estate manager, Marco, as this was the nickname by which he was known in Gavi. The best, healthiest and ripest bunches are carefully selected from all the farm’s vineyards and placed in wooden trays, where they are left to partially dry for 30 to 40 days. This makes the wine suitable for vinification and ageing in barriques. It reaches maturity in its third year, and maintains an even level of quality for many years. The winery began making this wine back in 1984, since then its quality has stood out for itself. (Truly amazing, one of a kind aged white wine.
