Comments:	Made with select grapes from the Tenuta Franceta vineyard in Romagnano Sesia, in the Novara Hills, which are characterized by soil of glacial origin. The wine ages for 6 months in large 50-hectoliter (about 1,320 gallons) oak vats, and it is bottled the spring following harvest. The color is ruby red, and to the nose it reveals the perfume of ripe white cherries and raspberries, with intense scent of aromatic herbs and mineral notes. To the palate it tastes of fresh, ripe fruits, with delicate tannins which add character to the finish. Excellent paired with pastas with rich sauces, white- or red meat-based recipes.
