Comments:	Made with select grapes from the higher vine of the Romagnano Sesia vineyards, in the Novara Hills, which are characterized by soil of glacial origin. The wine ages for 24 months in large 23- or 48-hectoliter French oak vats, plus 12 months in the bottle before release. The color is brilliant garnet, with a ruby red heart and orange highlights on the nail. The perfume of ripe cherries opens to the aroma of green tobacco, notes of dried fruit and just a touch of black truffles. The palate is pleasantly acidic, with ripe tannins which add density and fade into spice notes in the finish. Perfect wine for important game dishes, red meat with sauce, and strong-flavored cheeses.
