Comments:	The unusual proximity of an oak and a willow tree nearby the Terre di Nano estate was reported in historic maps of the village of Monticchiello, in Val d'Orcia, as Quercialsale. The Leonardo da Vinci sketches for the painting known as Battaglia di Anghiari which are reproduced on the label, suggest the strength and dynamism of this barrique-aged wine made with 100% Sangiovese. A product with great character, it has a soft and enveloping flavor, whose noble tannins are well integrated in the wine structure, which shows excellent balance and persistence and it is at its best paired with red meat-based recipes. The bottle should be uncorked one hour before serving at 18°-20°C (64.4°-68°F).
